The Guide is an encyclopedia of regional economies
The one-volume reference resource contains the most comprehensive information covering the economic, industrial, natural resource, export/import and investment potential in each of Russia’s regions. Sections devoted to particular regions are accompanied by addresses from the heads of the executive branch of each regional administration.
In addition to a detailed economic map and basic information (geography, climate, population) and official contacts at the regional administrations, The Guide presents data on the dynamics of the regions’ economic development over the last 7-10 years. The data includes volumes and structures of the GRP, current conditions and forecasts for main industries, lists and volumes of their main products, exports and imports, fuel and energy balances, transport infrastructure, and natural resources.
Investment attractiveness of the regions is substantiated by concrete indices: volumes of capital investment, dynamics of foreign investment inflow, existence of businesses with foreign capital, local legislation on advantages and privileges for investors, development programs.
